Free roof quotes and advice
Q. Do you provide free quotes?
A. All quotations and roofing estimates are free.
We will meet with you onsite at a time that suits you best. Call or Email us, we would love to hear from you.
We aim to provide any quote within 48 hours of measuring. In most cases we can work out the quote on the spot.
Q. Do you need to come out and measure our roof and guttering to quote?
A. To give you an accurate and competitive quotation we measure every component on your roof and gutter from your roof, not from a computer. This gives us the advantage of accuracy over other roofing companies and give you the best possible price .
Material and products
Q. What products and materials do you use?
A. We only use premium quality products such as Australian made Colorbond and Zincalume by Lysaght using Blue Scope Steel.
Q. What is the difference between Zincalume and Colorbond?
A. Zincalume is steel that is dipped in a zinc based product to give a protective coating.
Colorbond sheeting uses the same procedure as Zincalume but is then taken one step further. The Zinc coils are placed in an oven and the colour is then baked and bonded onto the Zincalume coating. Hence the name 'Colorbond'.
Warranty and guarantee
Q. What sort of warranty do I receive?
A. We give a minimum 10 year guarantee on all workmanship while the materials we use come with product warranties of up to 30 years
We will provide you with a Plumbing Compliance Certificate. This is a 6 year guarantee backed up by the Plumbing Industry Commission.
Licences and qualifications
Q. What licenses and qualifications do you have?
A. All of our plumbers are fully qualified, Licenced and registered roof plumbers with many years of experience.
Q. Do you have the appropriate insurances?
A. We have Property and Public Liability Insurance to the value of $20,000,000 as well as full Work Cover insurance.
Safety and Work Safe
Q. Are all safety measures taken and do they comply with Workplace Health and Safety Regulations?
A. All work is conducted in accordance with the codes of practice for OHS and WorkSafe Victoria, Plumbing Industry Commission standards, rules & regulations and the E.P.A. Safety is our key priority and we take the safety of all of our employees and customers very seriously. Job Safety Analysis (JSA) are conducted for all sites.
Time to complete roof and/or gutters
Q. How long does it take to complete most roofing or guttering jobs?
A. This will depend on the size and lay out of your roof, but generally allow 3 to 5 days for your roof and 1 to 2 day for your gutters.
Q. Will I need to leave my home or am I required to be home while works are undergoing on my roof?
A. In most cases there is no need to vacate your home or take time off work. If you do happen to be home it is a must that everyone at home be aware of there potential dangers and keep away from working areas.
Q. How long until you can start?
A. Usually our lead times are 2-4 weeks, however we possibly could make special arrangements if necessary.
Q. Do you remove all Rubbish?
A. All existing materials and rubbish will be dispose of appropriately.
We care for the environment and recycle when ever possible. E.g.. Scrap metal and re-useable tiles.
Rain and weather
Q. What happens if it rains while my roof is being repaired/replaced?
A. In general we only remove sections of the roof at a time which makes it easy to quickly cover up should it rain unexpectedly. We watch the weather very closely to limit these interruptions and if it looks like there is a possibility that it may rain we may cease work altogether depending on the extent of the threat. We always ensure your roof is water tight before we leave. We are very experienced in dealing with poor weather conditions.
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We accept payment by cash, personal cheque, bank cheque and direct deposit.
